Event execution for the automotive sector

OnePass executes automotive events: vehicle launches and reveals, dealer and partner conferences, exhibition stands at auto shows, showroom openings, and test-drive activations. Three constraints define the work — the vehicle has to physically get to its position and back out, the floor has to take its weight, and the lighting has to make painted metal look right on camera and in the room. OnePass designs and fabricates the stand or set in-house, engineers the reveal mechanism, and delivers the AVL, registration, and site operations around it. This is a statement of capability: no automotive client project is published on this site.

Every automotive event is shaped by one fact that no other sector has to plan around: the exhibit drives. A vehicle has to reach its final position through the venue's doors, ramps, and lifts, sit on a floor rated for its weight, and leave again at the end without the stand being dismantled around it. That route is surveyed before anything is designed, because a reveal position that cannot be reached is not a design problem — it is a cancelled reveal.

Lighting is the second discipline that separates automotive work from general event production. Painted and chromed surfaces reflect their surroundings rather than diffusing light, so the rig is built to control reflections and to hold up under broadcast and photography as well as to the eye. A lighting plot that flatters a stage set will usually make a car look wrong.

The third is the reveal itself. Covers, turntables, lifts, screens, and lighting states are engineered elements with tested failure paths, rehearsed repeatedly before an audience sees them once. That is the same discipline described on the product launch page, applied to a vehicle whose weight and dimensions make every mechanism heavier and less forgiving.

Formats

What automotive brands run,
and what each one demands.

The audience changes from press to dealers to public, and the build changes with it.

01
Vehicle launches and reveals

One dated moment with press and invited guests. The reveal mechanism, cue accuracy, and camera-ready lighting decide the evening; arrival flow decides whether it starts on time.

02
Dealer and partner conferences

Multi-session programmes for a network arriving from several cities, often with vehicles in the room. Registration throughput and room turnarounds set the schedule.

03
Auto show and exhibition stands

Fabrication against a published hall specification, with vehicle access routes, floor loading, and stand-level AVL agreed with the organiser before build.

04
Showroom openings and test-drive activations

Environments that run for days rather than minutes, with public flow, hospitality, and vehicles moving in and out through the programme.

Scope

What OnePass delivers,
and what the brand holds.

The product, the campaign, and the press relationship stay with the brand and its agency. This is where OnePass's scope sits.

Delivered directly by OnePass
  • Stand, set, and plinth design with engineering drawings and load calculations
  • In-house fabrication of the build, including the reveal element
  • Vehicle access route survey, ramping, and positioning plan
  • AVL with a lighting design built for reflective surfaces and for camera
  • Show calling, cue sheets, and technical rehearsal before doors
  • Registration, accreditation, and guest and press arrival flow
  • Load-in, installation, live operation, de-rig, and site handback
Coordinated with appointed parties
  • The brand's agency on creative direction, run of show, and content delivery
  • Vehicle logistics providers on delivery, movement, and removal
  • Venue and organiser teams on access windows, floor loading, and rigging
  • Photography, filming, and broadcast crews working the reveal
  • Catering, hospitality, and test-drive marshalling providers
Outside OnePass's scope
  • Creative concept, campaign strategy, and brand messaging
  • Vehicle readiness, specification, and any claim made about the product

  • Test-drive licensing and driver vetting
Transferable proof

Confirmed work behind
this capability.

No automotive client project is published on this site. The work below is cited as proof of the vehicle-environment, fabrication, and show-calling disciplines an automotive event depends on — not as automotive sector experience.

  • Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Jeddah — Technical infrastructure and logistics in a motorsport environment with vehicle access and fixed installation windows — cited as vehicle-environment and site-operations proof, not as automotive client history.
  • Netflix Activation Event — Bespoke environment build with live technical operation for a brand audience — cited as fabrication and activation proof, not as an automotive project.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about
Automotive.

Has OnePass delivered an automotive launch?

No automotive client project is published on this site, and none is claimed. The disciplines a vehicle launch needs — reveal-mechanism engineering, in-house fabrication, show calling, camera-ready lighting, and registration flow — are evidenced by the confirmed motorsport and activation work named on this page, which is cited as transferable proof rather than automotive history. Specific automotive experience should be confirmed with the team directly.

Can a vehicle be revealed on stage?

Yes, subject to the route. The access path, door and lift dimensions, ramp gradients, turning circle, and floor loading are surveyed before the set is designed, and the reveal mechanism is engineered with a tested manual fallback. Where the venue cannot take the vehicle to the intended position, the position changes — not the vehicle.

How is lighting different for a car?

Painted and chromed panels reflect their environment rather than diffusing light, so the rig is designed around reflection control: what the car sees is as important as what hits it. The plot is also built to hold up under broadcast and stills, which usually means different levels and colour temperature than a stage set would use.

Does OnePass handle vehicle transport?

No. Vehicle delivery, movement, and removal are handled by the brand's appointed logistics provider, along with insurance and road-legal compliance. OnePass surveys and plans the access route, sequences the load-in around it, and positions the vehicle on site.

Can OnePass run a multi-city automotive roadshow?

Multi-city delivery is a fabrication and logistics question: a build has to be designed as a repeatable kit, transported, reinstalled, and dismantled to the same standard in each city. OnePass fabricates in-house and delivers event logistics, which are the components that make it possible, but no multi-city roadshow is published on this site. Discuss the specific cities and dates with the team rather than assuming the capability from this page.
